Welcome to Ashtanga Saadhana Yoga Shala, nestled in the peaceful Gokulam neighbourhood of Mysore. Our shala is founded on the timeless tradition of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga — a method that unites breath, movement and awareness in a disciplined yet deeply inward-moving practice.
At our core, we believe yoga is far more than a series of postures. It is a means of cultivating steadiness of mind (sthita-pragnya), building awareness, and discovering ease in body and life. In the spirit of this path, our space is welcoming to practitioners of all experience levels — from those newly stepping onto the mat, to those committed to deepening their journey.
We honour the lineage of practise — acknowledging how Ashtanga Vinyasa arose from traditional roots and continues to unfold today. Our shala invites you to find your own rhythm within the framework of breath, gaze (drishti), energy-locks (bandhas) and steady, mindful movement.

As a Divine blessing, I received the practice of yoga at an young age, and have been a sincere practitioner of its priciples ever since. I completed the four sequences of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga. Eventually, was initiated into Meditation, which is the main practice of Ashtanga Yoga. I am teaching to sincerely share the same.
One of the great thinkers once said when asked “Who are you?” to which the reply was “That is what I am thinking”. This quest has been the road to walk, the practice for me, to reveal its path. I realise Yoga is a practice of befriending our mind, so that life can be in peace, and living at ease.
